OKay so this year i started learning how to play the Alto Saxophone and my oh my did i love it :)
i was one of the fasytest excelling grade 7's in music with one of my dear friends( a flute player) being the other. i started of in junior concert band but was then allowed to join senior band.
i have played in what i like to a mini concert which is where the senior concert band visited two of our feeder primary schools and just played a number of songs for them. i have also played at our school fair which i spose wasn't as good as i thought it would be as it was windy and you could barely hear us.
i have just recently (being today the day this post was published) entered in the secondary music scholoship :) hehe i had to record myself playing to "the Trout" it took me 15 times before i could get it right and even then it wasn't my best...Damn nerves. it will be interesting to see if by some miricle i get it because that would be amazing meaning i could either put my towards buying a saxophone or towards private music lessons. everyone cross your fingers for me and hope i did good :)
i can play numerous songs including, "Theme from Spider Man" , "Viva La Vida" , "Smoke on the Water" , "Bob the Builder: Can We Fix it" , "Tequila" , "Advance Australian Fair" , "The Trout" , Big Mover" and more
